MyBattery 3.0 introduces some new features that I hope you'll like.
• Fully Customizable Window
Previous versions of MyBattery let you choose from 10 pre-defined displays. MyBattery 3.0 sports a "MyBattery Editor", that lets you, the user, select which pieces of information you wish to have displayed. Once you have selected the items to be displayed, you can drag them around, size the window, and customize the display the way you want.
There are several enhancements that I plan on making to the editor, but I felt it was more important to release the software with the basic editor functions now, instead of waiting until I add all the "bells and whistles". So look forward to easier ways of lining up items on the window, undoing the last change, dragging multiple items, and more. And feel free to pass along any suggestions you might have!
• New History Window†
The History window is its own window now. The display is now universally calibrated for all PowerBooks (no more pesky voltage scale problems). Additionally, the history can display wattage and PowerBook temperature (on supported models). †Registered copies only.
• PowerBook 500 support
MyBattery 3.0 also introduces full support for the dual batteries of the PowerBook 500 series.
• New Battery Information
MyBattery 3.0 also adds the ability to display the following information (on models that support them, of course)...
√ Battery serial numbers (on Duos)
√ Battery and PowerBook temperature (Duos, PowerBook 500's)
√ Apple remaining battery estimate (Duos, PowerBook 500's)
√ Internal hard drive status (Duos, PowerBook 500's, PowerBook 100's w/System 7.5)
